This transparent protective device, also called a "smoove", is ideal for ribbon-style fiber optic connections and is essential for providing protection for fiber solders in winding boxes or fusion combs. Heat shrink protection is essential to preserve optical fiber welds and is suitable for all types of boxes, drawers or cabinets.
- Allows excellent protection of the fibers after fusion and provides them with mechanical support.
- Heat-shrinkable splice protections for ribbon fiber called “smooves” protect optical fiber welds in coiling boxes or in splice combs.
