Specific design in mind.
Return loss refers to the ratio in decibels of the ratio of backward reflected light (scattered light transmitted continuously at the input end) to input light at the fiber connection.
The end face is ground at an 8 degree angle to further reduce return loss.

Soft Peel and LSZH sheathing
Your optical fiber is protected by LSZH materials. they are insulated with polyethylene, PVC or polyurethane. During a fire, chlorinated plastic releases hydrogen chloride, a toxic gas that forms hydrochloric acid when it comes into contact with water. Halogen-free cables do not produce dangerous gas or acid combinations or toxic smoke when exposed to flame.
Inside, we added a polymer coating with a thickness of 25 μm. The coating layer not only effectively isolates moisture or corrosive liquid, but also has the greatest effect of improving the strength of the optical fiber, and the performance of bending strength, tensile strength and toughness to pressure are greatly improved.
Bending and corner solutions

The minimum radius diameter in the corners is 5mm (generally 10mm -20mm) and the Dynamic Fatigue Parameter (Nd) reaches 26 (20 for general fiber)

To echo a few comments, the octofiber cable is slightly thinner by a few tenths of a millimeter and a little more rigid. This does not make it a more fragile cable. By definition, a fiber optic cable is a fragile cable that cannot be handled like a copper cable. That being said, it remains flexible enough to do a clean installation.

Optical fiber extension with excellent value for money. The reason why I bought this optical fiber extension is to extend a Bbox box from Bouygues - the connection box is not central enough to 'water' everything. apartment correctly. Be careful, 20 meters is long and you have to unwind as you deploy because the fiber can bend and therefore hinder proper functioning, or even not work at all: use your patience and you will be rewarded.

It is quite flexible and thin so easy to “route” along walls and doorways.
I managed to get the PTO to get into the room I wanted but on the wrong side.
This jumper allows me to put the Freebox next to my PC instead of routing a much bulkier cat6 ethernet cable and cluttering the wall on the PTO side.
The only downside to compensate for installations (Free in my case) with a PTO imposed in a ridiculous place (I've seen it!) is that the wall crossings must be done with the large diameter of the optical connectors. I don't have this problem.

Perfect in 15m without loss of speed. This cable allowed me to move the fiber box more than 15m away without the slightest loss of speed. It seems more solid to me than the one given by Orange during installation. I was able to bend it in various places without making a 90 degree angle otherwise it would break. A little fright during installation due to unwinding the cable tends to fold back on itself so it was pinched takes a moment but fortunately without breaking the optical fiber inside, so take your time during installation and be careful that it does not fold on itself. I would advise you not to do this alone to avoid my little scare. This one is 1€ more expensive than the green one sold by the same brand but having passed my cable with ties it remains visible and therefore the color green would have been ugly, so I took this model in whiteIn summary solid, quite long and above all no loss of flow over 15m. Hassle-free replacement for the Orange fiber box cable. Wanting to move my office, the Orange optical cable originally delivered with the fiber box turned out to be too short. So I ordered this longer cable at a very reasonable price. - Installed easily, I noticed no loss of flow compared to the previous cable. Allows you to move the box close to connected devices when the fiber optic box is far away. Devices connected via Ethernet (better than WiFi). The cable is thin (be careful, fragile!). The installation is clean, cable stuck discreetly against a plinth. The flow rate of the box is identical to the original 3 meter cable (flow rate controlled by speedtest). Small downside on the green cable protector, it is not crimped on the optical connector. If you pull the cable through this protector it goes down the length of the cable. So be careful. We may ask ourselves the question that an optical fiber extension is not found in the various French DIY stores (check, you will see). It's incomprehensible. I use this cable with my Red By SFR box without problems.
I did not notice any reduction in flow with this 20 meter cable compared to the 1 meter cable provided by SFR.
The wire is very thin (around 1mm) and it bends easily in the corners of the walls, even too much! Be careful not to fold it completely otherwise it will be unusable.
The connectors fit perfectly into their slots on the Box side and Fiber box side.

No loss of flow. Allows the box to be moved close to connected devices when the fiber optic box is far away. Devices connected via Ethernet (better than WiFi). The cable is thin (be careful, fragile!). The installation is clean, cable stuck discreetly against a plinth. The flow rate of the box is identical to the original 3 meter cable (flow rate controlled by speedtest). Small downside on the green cable protector, it is not crimped on the optical connector. If you pull the cable through this protector it goes down the length of the cable. So be careful. We may ask ourselves the question that an optical fiber extension is not found in the various French DIY stores (check, you will see). It's incomprehensible. Thank you Amazon for always being by my side! I forgot, this cable is connected to a Livebox and everything works perfectly.
