This fiber optic cable provides a solution for the connection between your communications box and the wall outlet. A connector that fits the socket to make the upstream/downstream connection. It is a SC/APC – SC/APC universe cable for all scenarios at home or in your office.
Specific design in mind.
Return loss refers to the ratio in decibels of the ratio of backward reflected light (scattered light transmitted continuously at the input end) to input light at the fiber connection.
The end face is ground at an 8 degree angle to further reduce return loss.
Thanks to the specific design, the head return loss is less than -60dB, of which the insertion loss is also very reliable (≤0.2dB)
Soft Peel and LSZH sheathing
Your SC/APC fiber optic cable is protected by LSZH materials. they are insulated with polyethylene, PVC or polyurethane. During a fire, chlorinated plastic releases hydrogen chloride, a toxic gas that forms hydrochloric acid when it comes into contact with water. Halogen-free cables do not produce dangerous gas or acid combinations or toxic smoke when exposed to flame.
Inside, we added a polymer coating with a thickness of 25 μm. The coating layer not only effectively isolates moisture or corrosive liquid, but also has the greatest effect of improving the strength of the optical fiber, and the performance of bending strength, tensile strength and toughness to pressure are greatly improved.
Bending and corner solutions
We did a bending test to make sure the protection can work well in some undesirable scenarios.
The minimum radius diameter in the corners is 5mm (generally 10mm -20mm) and the Dynamic Fatigue Parameter (Nd) reaches 26 (20 for general fiber)
Reusable ribbon and packaging
We use reusable tape and reusable packaging for good protection and delivery to you.

Fiber used to replace the optical fiber of a Livebox 4.
Thinner than the original fiber but it is an asset for passing between the wall and the laminate flooring.
I made a hole with a diameter of 14 to pass the head and the fiber through a 14 cm wall.
Perfect functioning.

Works perfectly with Orange Fiber, apparently no loss of speed. On the other hand, very fragile, handle with care, very thin optical jumper. I would like to point out that this Fiber Optic cable is 2mm in diameter and not 3mm as indicated in the description of the product sheet.

Product conforms to the description, works with all fiber boxes. The ISP provides a 2 meter cable which is not long enough if the box is not next to the fiber arrival. So I ordered 5 meters and it's perfect.

Ras. Quick delivery. Works perfectly. Remember to remove the small protective caps during assembly (they are discreet… 😉) and not look directly once connected, obviously… (there is a “warning!” sticker)

Nothing to complain about this type of cable, a simple connection to use, this cable is flexible but remains fragile...
However, it must be handled with care and avoid excessive curvatures….

The cable provided with the Livebox is 4m, so much too long, I replaced it with this one in 1m length, I would have preferred 50cm but that does not exist to date
