Description

Pair of 10 Gbit/s SFP+ BIDI modules: a complete 10G link over a single single-mode fibre, SC simplex connector, up to 20 km. The two modules are complementary (1270/1330 nm and 1330/1270 nm) — to link two switches, or a switch to a Freebox Ultra.

A single fibre

Transmit and receive on the same fibre thanks to two wavelengths.

1270 / 1330 nm pair

One module TX1270/RX1330, the other TX1330/RX1270: fit them face to face.

10G / 2.5G / 1.25G

Adapts to the speed of the port opposite.

Up to 20 km

Over OS2 9/125 µm single-mode fibre.

SC/APC or SC/UPC

SC simplex port compatible with both polishes.

DDM · hot-plug

Built-in digital diagnostics, hot-swappable.

10G SC single-mode simplex module: 1270/1330 nm, 10G/2.5G/1.25G, up to 20 km, DDM

10G over a single fibre, up to 20 km

Each module transmits on one wavelength and receives on the other: TX1270/RX1330 on one side, TX1330/RX1270 on the other. A single SC simplex fibre is enough for a 10 Gbit/s link up to 20 km, with DDM signal monitoring.

Compatible with the major brands

Tested with Cisco, Mikrotik, D-Link, Supermicro, Netgear, Huawei, Juniper equipment, open-source switches and Intel X520 cards. Hot-swappable, no configuration.

Compatible with Cisco, Mikrotik, D-Link, Supermicro, Netgear, Huawei, Juniper, Open Switch, Intel 520
10G switch-to-switch link with a pair of SFP+ BIDI modules

Linking two switches

One module in each switch, one fibre between them: the pair creates a 10G link between two buildings, two floors or two racks, without pulling a second fibre.

With a Freebox Ultra

Plug one module into the SFP+ port of the Freebox Ultra and the other into a 10G switch: the box’s multi-gigabit speed reaches your local network over a single fibre.
